Name: Chamber in Action Beach Cleanup Day - Sponsored by Future Cleaning
Date: June 29, 2019
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT
Event Description:

Join the Venice Chamber in Action Committee for a Beach Cleanup Day at the Venice Pier! Future Cleaning, professional cleaning company and VCC member, is sponsoring the event and providing all of the supplies so all you need to bring is yourself and a friend to help clean up our beautiful beach.

Volunteers needed for all types of positions! I.e. handing out supplies, managing the check-in table, collecting and throwing away full trashbags, and of course, cleaning up the beach.

Please meet at or before 9:00 am at the south side of the Venice Pier to pick up the donated supplies.

This event is a part of the Chamber in Action Committee's "random acts of kindness" initiative in which the committee participates in community efforts and happenings throughout the year to help positively impact local non-profits and their efforts. Events include food drives, meal serving, clean-ups, and more! The random acts of kindness also include assisting non-profits in finding resources, like volunteers and supplies, for events they are planning.

Do you know of a local non-profit that would like the Chamber in Action committee's support? Please email info@venicechamber.net for more information and to submit the event.

About the Chamber in Action Committee
The Chamber in Action Committee brings chamber members and the community together to work on improving our business and community. This committee focuses on community service and community improvement. Using an application process, the committee selects a local non-profit group, Venice business or public area in need of improvement and organizes Chamber members and volunteers to create positive change.

Recent projects include the LAPD Pacific Division lobby renovation, the Venice Gondola Project, and the POW-MIA mural restoration. This committee recently adopted the Venice Carousel Project and is involved with various garden improvement and beach clean-up efforts.
