An evening of music, art, poetry and theatre at SPARC (Old Venice Jail)
on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 6pm to Midnight.
The Roots and Wings Project is a politically charged, socially transformative theatre company that brings attention to truth and gives voice to the unnamed, unspoken and misunderstood through theatrical innovation and multi-media collaboration.
All proceeds from tonight's event, "Ignite" will go toward helping the Roots and Wings Project tell the story of the "Tree of Fire," a site-specific play that exposes the inhumanity of the women's prison system.

8pm to Midnight - Performance
