Launchpad Coaching Workshop: 4 Tips for Open Communication With You Pre-Teen Daughter
Are you struggling talking with your pre-teen daughter?
~ Maybe you’re sad that she’s shutting you out of her life, not talking to you anymore.
~ Maybe you are trying to be cool but it’s not working?
And when she doesn't communicate with you, it's easy to wonder...
Is she not doing well enough in school?
Is she being bullied and not telling you?
Maybe she’s getting involved something that’s not ok- drugs, sex, bad influences?
At this time in a pre-teen’s life they are necessarily separating from you. “Just butt out of my life,” they might be saying.
And while separation is a good thing, it’s important to sustain healthy communication at this time in thier lives so you are both feeling understood and heard.
My goal is to help you “get” your daughter and she gets you, so that she actually wants to share what’s going on for her, without you even having to ask...well sometimes. ;-)
There is no way to make all of her issues go away, painful as that can be for a parent. But if you are communicating with each other in substantial ways, then these issues may not take hold so hard.
That’s why I created my upcoming free workshop!
