Saturday, January 28: To close the series we have Lucent Dossier's Sarah Llewellyn presenting her dark ensemble interpretation on privacy, vulnerability and exposure with "Secrets Out".
Associate Artistic Director Josh Berkowitz has been curating at Electric Lodge since beginning of 2016. His background in theater, performance art and clown has caused a collision of communities and has broken insularities in underground performance scenes so that alternative comedy now can bleed into site-specific dance work and all becomes hybrid and free of definition. Now with The Lightning Series, Josh Berkowitz is extending this exploration with a 3-weekend, 9-show endeavor to capture where entertainment and art cross wires and cause electrical fires.
