THE PARTY IN PLAYA VISTA
“Mid-Century Flight,” the gala finale of the 2017 Venice Design Series, takes you back to the heyday of aviation at Howard Hughes corporate headquarters, now home to the innovative, award-winning ad agency 72andSunny. Tour the historic building in which the “Spruce Goose” was designed, and peek into the original office of visionary tycoon, aviator, and Hollywood producer, Howard Hughes. Inside 72andSunny you will also find the original UCLA Pauley Pavilion basketball court floors, home to UCLA basketball teams. Michael Warren, UCLA Hall of Famer, captain of three of four NCAA national championship teams (1965-67,68) and Emmy Award-winning actor from his role on “Hill Street Blues,” will be on hand to relive vignettes from the best games in history. Veuve Cliquot, martinis, gourmet food, and dancing under the stars will make this an amazing evening.
Wear your festive, mid-century attire and join us for a dance lesson, photo booth, and delightful company. Don’t miss this one.
