The Venice Media District Committee invites Venice creative and tech professionals and entrepreneurs for a mixer at Canal Club. VMD Mixers are quarterly events designed to engage the various creative communities, providing opportunities to network with colleagues in the technology, media and entertainment industries. 
 

About Venice Media District
The Los Angeles City Council recognizes the Venice Media District (VMD) as one of the world's most creative hubs for film, television, and technology. For over a century, creative icons, artists, and visionaries have thrived at LA's artistic outpost by the sea.

The Venice Media District focuses on bringing media professionals of all backgrounds together to share ideas, network with others in related fields, and collaborate on projects. Our goal is to brand Silicon Beach on a community level, in the heart of Creativity - Venice Beach, California.

The Venice Media District's mission is to:
- Create networking opportunities where business-to-business connections & collaborations are easily made
- Increase awareness of and participation in the Venice Chamber of Commerce, Venice Media District, and Venice Neighborhood Council (VCC/VMD/VNC)
- Promote Venice as a destination to attract new businesses & entrepreneurs to the VMD
- Connect nonprofits & charities with access to the assets of the VMD
- Present 4 quarterly events annually, including: educational panels, mixers, film screenings, partner events with larger organizations, and events with industry elite, to create opportunities for professionals in the fields of film, tv, and tech to learn and interact.
