Venice Welcomes Back the Los Angeles Rams
The Venice Chamber of Commerce, along with Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Bonin of District 11, will commemorate the historic return of the Los Angeles Rams by lighting the historic Venice Sign Rams blue and gold.
Windward Avenue from Main Street to Pacific Avenue will be closed beginning at 5 pm for fans of all ages to enjoy a fun zone of passing, kicking, and obstacle courses as well as other exciting displays to welcome back LA's first professional sports team. There will be a selection of LA's finest food trucks ready to serve up a snack.
LA-themed live entertainment by local music artists will begin around 6:00 pm and will culminate at 7:45 with a ceremony to light the Venice Sign hosted by Councilman Bonin and Rams GM Kevin Demoff.
Local celebrities, Rams "legend" players, the Rams cheerleaders and mascot, Rampage, will join the hosts in pulling the switch to light the historic Venice Sign in Rams colors!
