Abbot Kinney Community Grant Applications Now Open!

The Abbot Kinney Festival Association (AKFA) is accepting applications for its Community Grants Program. Abbot Kinney Festival Association is a 501(c)(3) grant-making organization that supports community-based organizations in Venice with an emphasis on youth, community, and the arts. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, Abbot Kinney Festival, draws crowds of over 100,000 to the most iconic street in Venice. We believe that we can have fun, bring our community together and give back at the same time. In fact, that's exactly the spirit of the community we love so much and are committed to supporting. Since 1984, well over $300,000 in festival proceeds have been invested into the community of Venice.

Help us spread the word! Share this information with any Venice based organization that you feel might be interested in applying for a grant.

The application deadline is August 30, 2019 (midnight).

Are you a 2017-2018 Community Grant Recipient?

If so, you qualify for a FREE booth at this year's Abbot Kinney Festival! 

  • Register here for your booth and enter "grant" as the discount code.
  • A condition of your grant is the submission of a project culmination report be submitted to the AKFA Community Grants Program upon completion of your project or before applying this year. The report should include photographs of the project we are funded and/or of your organization’s program(s) in action. 
  • Additionally, we request that you acknowledge the Abbot Kinney Festival Association Community Grants Program on your website (with a logo and link to abbotkinney.org) and in your newsletters and/or other literature.
