WATERFRONT JAMAICA BAY INN INTRODUCES NEWLY REDESIGNED

BEACHSIDE RESTAURANT & BAR

            

Irvine, CA (October 12, 2017) Jamaica Bay Inn introduces its newly redesigned Beachside Restaurant & Bar, offering waterfront dining and seasonal, California coastal cuisine in Marina del Rey. A longstanding local favorite, Beachside is a classic gathering spot in the marina.  Beachside’s redesigned layout includes a new bar, updated interiors, updated terrace seating and décor, and an adjacent private event space that offers beach views and a private entrance, perfect for meetings, family gatherings, and private events.

 

      

 

New Executive Chef Victor Morales has created a seasonally driven, relaxed yet modern menu of updated classics. “I consider it beach-friendly food for a foodie crowd,” said Morales. “My goal is to make dining here both a culinary experience but also a fun, no pressure day at the beach or break from your work day.”  

 

 

Beachside’s new menu is inspired by the restaurant’s coastal proximity but balanced by innovative takes on American classics.  Dinner includes dishes like Grilled Pacific Swordfish, Cedar Planked Loche Duarte Salmon, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Meyer Lemon Marinated Organic Half Chicken, Half Pound Double Cheeseburger & Fries, and Organic 7 oz. Wagyu Kobe Flatiron, to name a few. Entrees range from $16 to $29.



 

  

 

Brunch daily covers breakfast and lunch and consists of morning specialties like Breakfast Enchiladas, Greek Yogurt and Fresh Berries, Bagel with Smoked Salmon served with Cream Cheese, Capers, Red Onion, Tomato & Greens, small plates of Calamari Fries with a Bloody Mary Cocktail Sauce, Chili and Lime Hummus served with Garlic Pita Bread, Sliced Cucumber, and Baby Carrots, in addition to entrees like Pacific Sole Fish & Chips, Albacore Tuna Melt, and an 8 oz. Shiitake & Basil Turkey Burger and Fries served on a Toasted Brioche Bun.

 

Beachside offers Daily Happy Hour from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm in an al fresco setting, the perfect place to sip and savor beneath a trellis-canopied terrace with fireside seating and unobstructed marina views. Enjoy a special menu including savory bites to share and small plates to savor like Spicy Edamame, Warm Spinach & Artichoke Dip, and Wild Hawaiian Albacore Sashimi as well as larger entrees like Charred Shishito Peppers, Tempura Fish Tacos, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders. Happy hour dishes range from $5 to $14. Cocktails and house wine are $6, draft beer is $4.
