Venice, CA - April 20, 2018 – The Venice Chamber of Commerce is welcoming the arrival of the legal cannabis industry by crowning the Venice sign with cannabis leaves.  FlowerHire Executive Staffing has co-sponsored the leaf design and is proud to call Venice its home.

Venice is a major cultural center of LA and is quickly becoming the next business hub of California's cannabis industry.  With its unique blend of people, culture and art, Venice draws in both traditional technology companies like Google, Dollar Shave Club, and new cannabis technology companies like FlowerHire.

The way in which cannabis is celebrated, understood, and viewed represents the visionary nature of the Venice community. By welcoming diversity, forward thinking, and reform, Venice is pioneering the change for other communities and the nation as a whole.

The Venice Chamber of Commerce is an organization of business leaders who actively serve as advocates for the ever-growing Venice business community. The Venice Sign, a federally registered trademark of the Venice Chamber of Commerce and Venice’s most iconic symbol, attracts thousands of tourists to Venice. In 2007, the Venice Sign Restoration Project recreated and installed the contemporary version of this historic sign.  Since that time, the Venice Chamber has been responsible for maintaining the sign and for protecting its trademark. Today this lasting legacy is restored across Windward Avenue as a tribute to the celebrated Venice of years past and a modern day gateway to the world famous Venice Beach. Continuing year-round, the Venice Chamber of Commerce, through programs and events, raises funds to support the maintenance of the Venice Sign.
