Venice Chamber of Commerce Welcomes 2025-26 Board with Evening of Recognition and Connection
Venice, CA – On Wednesday, July 23rd, the Venice Chamber of Commerce (VCC) hosted its highly anticipated 2025-26 Board Installation & Mixer at NeueHouse Venice Beach. This event marked a significant moment for the community as Councilwoman Traci Park officiated the oath of office for the newly elected VCC Board of Directors.
The evening began with a vibrant networking hour from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, where attendees could connect and engage with fellow community members and business leaders. At 7:00 PM, VCC CEO Karin Wallerstein welcomed attendees and recognized the current Board of Directors and committee chairs, encouraging members and guests alike to deepen their involvement with the Chamber. She then introduced the evening’s honored guests, including Councilwoman Traci Park, who conducted the oath of office, Zac Gaidzik representing LA County Supervisor Lindsay Horvath, Janet Turner for Congressman Ted Lieu, Sam Gallegos and Sophia Liebman for State Senator Ben Allen, and LaQuisha Bryant for Assemblywoman Tina McKinnor. Karin also took a moment to acknowledge the Chamber’s former CEO, Donna Lasman, for her years of dedicated service, and expressed appreciation for the vibrant community spirit that defines the Venice Chamber. The welcome concluded with thanks to the NeueHouse team, especially Andrea and Sofia, for graciously hosting the event and supporting the Chamber's mission.
Councilwoman Traci Park addressed the attendees, reflecting on the major improvements the Venice neighborhood has experienced in recent years and the growing excitement as Los Angeles prepares to host the 2028 Olympics, with Venice set to be the site of multiple medal ceremonies. She spoke about the power of civic engagement and the Chamber’s essential role in supporting a vibrant and connected community. Following her remarks, she conducted the official oath of office, swearing in the new VCC Board of Directors for the 2025–26 term. The newly elected board members bring a diverse range of experience and a shared commitment to shaping a strong and inclusive future for Venice.

Serving two-year terms from 2025 to 2027 are:
Andrea Serrano of NeueHouse, Sarah Nicole Fisk of The Venice Fest/Venice Blvd. Productions, Taylor Jacobson, Alex Kissin of Venice Insider Pass, Carl Lambert of The Venice V Hotel, Chantel Hunter Mah of the Law Office of Chantel Hunter Mah, Lauren Pardini of the Venice School of Music, Michael Rosa of The Venice Whaler, Carole Stein of Venice Living Magazine, and Alex Stowell of Venice Paparazzi.
Continuing their two-year terms through 2026 are:
Artagus Ashford of Shefayoga, Sunny Bak of Venice Art Crawl, Stephanie Black of Google, Brennan Lindner of Generic Events, David Stine of David J. Stine Design, and Michael Wallerstein of Wallerstein Law.
Appointed for one-year terms for 2025–26 are:
